I am a 20 something who has had a keen interest in design since a work experience in a design department at the age of 14. Cleverly merging my new-found passion for design with my general nerdy teenage passion for IT, the rest is history.
Studying media and design at A-level then Marketing at university has allowed me to bring a strategic approach to my creativity. While learning the ropes from my peers, both technical and creative, when I was in my formative years has helped me gain discipline and the correct approach to design.
The last four years in my current role has seen me develop from the only graphic designer in the organisation. To a manager of 3 other full times creatives who deliver a high volume of design and communications across print and digital media.
With a high level of competency in all the Creative Suite range, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS, I am a skilled creative with a proven track record of delivering and managing the delivery of design on time and on budget to happy clients.
I enjoy dabbling in copywriting and photography but I would not class myself as an expert in either. But what experince I have had, I have been pleased with how the projects have turned out.
I am always looking to better my last piece of work. I am after a position that will challenge me on a daily basis and allow me to show you what I can do, at the same time as learning as much from others as possible.
In my spare time I enjoy music and films and other clichés people mention in descriptions about themselves. Such as video games, photography, the web and gardening...god I must be getting old.
